Sit with it

Take five minutes or two hours. Say the thing you've been thinking. The editor is just a blank page — no prompts unless you want them. Pick when you want it back: six months, a year, your next birthday, the day your lease runs out.

Let it go

Once you're done, the letter leaves your hands. It's encrypted, queued with our print partner, and held there until the morning you chose. You can't peek. You won't be reminded. It just waits.

Find it again

A Tuesday in April. Or a birthday in December. You've forgotten most of what you wrote. An envelope arrives — no return address you recognise, just a postmark. You open it standing in the hall. The person inside knows things about you that you've already started to forget.

Will you read my letter?

No. Your letter is encrypted the moment you save it. It's only decrypted at print time, in memory, for the seconds it takes to generate the page. Then it's gone. We could read it — we're honest about that. We don't. If that's not enough trust for what you're writing, this isn't the right place for it.

What if you disappear?

Your letter sits with our print partner from the moment you pay — not with us. Their queue is the system of record. If this website goes dark tomorrow, your letter still arrives on the morning you chose. That's the architecture, not a promise.

Can I change my mind?

Until the day before delivery, you can rewrite, reschedule, or cancel for a full refund. After that it's at the printer. We'd rather you wrote a second letter than tried to unsend the first.

What happens to my address?

Encrypted alongside the letter. Used once, to print the envelope. Deleted after delivery if you ask. We don't have a mailing list. We don't have a reason to keep it.
