Terms of Service

Write Self ("we", "us") provides a letter-to-future-self service. You write a letter on our website, choose a future posting date, and pay. We encrypt, store, and arrange for your letter to be printed and posted around the date you chose.

The service is operated by Two Cores Operations Ltd, registered in England and Wales.

You sign in via a magic link sent to your email. You're responsible for maintaining access to that email address. One account per email address.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Write Self.

You own the content of your letters. We don't claim any rights to what you write. We encrypt your letters at rest and decrypt them only at print time.

You must not use the service to send threatening, harassing, or illegal content. We reserve the right to cancel any letter that violates this and refund your payment.

Prices are shown in GBP and include UK postage. The current service is UK-only. All payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

The current offer is a one-off purchase. We do not currently sell a subscription.

You may request a full refund before the mailing is booked with Stannp. Once it is booked, cancellation and refund depend on whether the print partner can recover the job and its cost. Contact us as soon as possible.

We use Stannp UK as our print and mail partner. Once your account shows the mailing as booked, Stannp holds its posting schedule independently of Write Self.

The date you choose is the target posting date, not a guaranteed arrival date. Print availability, Royal Mail delays or address issues may change dispatch or arrival.

Write Self is provided "as is." We do our best to deliver your letter on time, encrypted and intact. We are not liable for losses arising from delayed or undelivered letters, postal service failures, or service interruptions.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected letter.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email to active account holders. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
